Samurai Music kicks off 2015 with another unique event, moving into one of the goals of its nights in Berlin - to have its artists and DJ's play longer sets. 2 DJ's will play the whole night from open to close

This is a playlist of both DJ's latest mixes to give you a taste of what the night promises.

Loxy is one of the most influential producer / DJ's in the history of Drum and Bass. Spearheading new strains of the genre with his DJIng, productions and labels Cylon Recordings and Xtinction Agenda, Loxy is a long time favourite of Samurai Music. With over 20 years experience as a DJ, he is the perfect candidate for a longer set and we look forward to what he brings as he stretches out for 3 hours or more.

Loxy is joined by Samurai label head Presha, another DJ that prefers long sets and with the combined experience of both these DJ's and the exclusive music that they will both be carrying, we have the makings of a very special musical treat.

SECRET THIRTEEN MIX 079 - GEOFF PRESHA

Secret Thirteen Mix 079 is a deliberate and plastic studio mix that is gradually shifting thus creating a well-balanced sustained and rich wholeness. The mix includes 30 high-quality and precisely produced records that were mostly released in the last two decades. However, the fundamental part of the mix is based on recently created music pieces by extremely experienced artists such as Genotype, FIS, Demdike Stare, Emptyset and Dominick Fernow’s Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement. There is also a bunch of untitled and unreleased records, two of them by FIS and Ena are from the upcoming compilation on Presha’s Horo label.
