Thrash Pilot - Stampire / Red Moon
Hot on the heels of the last release ‘Firewalker’, Thrash Pilot are back with another storming double A side, “Stampire”. (KILLSCR02)
Jim Kennedy last released under the name ‘Thrash Pilot’ in 1999 on Manchester’s classic ‘Abstrakt Recordings’ along with label mates ‘Proteus’ and ‘DJ Hidden’. A former live act, Thrash Pilot once performed at drum and bass nights UK wide. After moving to Leeds and presenting a show on pirate station ‘Move FM’ along with his DJ partner ‘DJ Snappa’ Jim, now under the name ‘Morpheus’ released on the now defunct ‘Nu-‐Urban Music’. After a long period away from the scene after becoming disillusioned with the state of drum and bass a few years ago, Jim is now back with his new label Killscreen Recordings.
