Blocks and Escher present Narratives Music Podcast #001 and with it the inimitable selection of the artist, Loxy.
An artist that has been at the forefront of Drum and Bass since its emergence in the 90’s, Loxy’s list of residencies and music credits is difficult to fathom. With a musical CV listing achievements which individually would crown the pinnacle of many artist’s careers, his tells a multifaceted story of DnB at its very best throughout the last 20 years. From his involvement in the early Metalheadz days to championing Renegade Hardware all over the world and collaborations with what can only be described as a who’s who of DnB including Bad Company, Resound, Usual Suspects, and Ink; Loxy’s influence within the scene’s history and his relevance now more than ever is testament to his ethos of never compromising the music.
As Narratives Music embarks on its musical journey with the first release “Sagan / Broken” and now our first podcast, we take great pride in Loxy presenting a glimpse of our shared musical passion and identity.
