‘Somewhere’ / ‘Half the Sky’ is the first original material from Blu Mar Ten since 2011’s Love is the Devil album project. This is the first single from their forthcoming album 'Famous Lost Words', scheduled to appear at the end of the year. Both tracks, it must be said are absolutely lovely. Somewhere is a smooth afterhours roller where dusty chords and jazz horns mingle with a deadly deep sub-bass resulting in a pure fusion of modern dark jazz with drum & bass. Meanwhile, Half the Sky is an equally epic number driven by its distinctive break while weeping pianos, stuttering vocals, howling synthscapes and bell motifs tumble around them.
