SPEAR052 - Hybrid Minds - Mountains LP

Over the last 2 years, Hybrid Minds (aka Josh White & Matt Lowe) have quickly established a following for their own cinematic, musical and uplifting brand of drum & bass. And this forthcoming album - which came through our mailbox just hours ago - is an absolute delight. With tracks like Lost, Fade, Meant To Be and I’m Through clocking up in-excess of 2 million views between them, the demand for an album has been evident. Spearhead boss, Steve BCee, quickly caught on to this and, since singing them to his Spearhead Records imprint in 2012, has had them locked away honing their sound and crafting their finest work to-date.

Mountains features guest appearances from Ad-Apt, Charlie P, Philippa Hanna, Rocky Nti, BCee, Grimm, Holly Drummond, Mike Romeo, Laurence Baker, Linguistics, Tempza, Jasmine Spence and Mimi Page who each bring an extra little piece of magic. SPEAR051: BCee - Lost & Found LP

Following on from the success of BCee’s debut LP ‘Beat The System’, ‘Lost & Found’ is BCee’s best and more personal work so far. Title track ‘Lost & Found’ and 140bpm ‘Into The Blue’ feature rising star Rocky Nti, who you may be familiar with as the front man for Jakwob live and the this years underground anthem ‘Blinding’ which was also remixed by BCee.

Meanwhile,‘Back To The Street’ and ‘In The Shadows’ feature the amazing voice of Philippa Hanna, who as a solo artist has just finished her first stadium tour as support of the legendary Lionel Richie. Finally, stepping up and injecting his own classic jungle sounds into ‘In The Shadows’ and ‘Fatal Attraction’ is the mighty Bladerunner (Ram / Dread / V Recordings) whose sound works surprisingly well alongside BCee’s musical goodness.
