Seba / Blu Mar Ten - Shades Of Me & You / Never Let You Go REMIX [WARM COMMUNICATIONS]

Massive release that just landed in our mail box. Making his fifth appearance on the label, Seba gives us a release dripping with emotion and depth on “Shades Of Me & You”. With its steppy drums, deep bass and commanding vocals all wrapped up in Seba’s trademark sound.

The flip sees Blu Mar Ten take the reigns on remix duty for Seba’s classic “Never Let You Go”. Keeping the original vocal intact and momentum going, Blu Mar Ten have turned out a fantastic remix. New Rhodes layered on top of a new deadly reese bassline adds a new intensity to the original.

Set to be released later this month, this one for Seba fans and Blu Mar Ten fans alike!

Knowledge Seba Remix Competition

Swedish producer Seba (Sebastian Ahrenberg) has established a reputation as one of the finest purveyors of quality drum & bass over a distinguished career stretching back over 15 years. From his early tracks on LTJ Bukem’s ground-breaking label Good Looking Records to his more recent work across iconic labels such as Metalheadz, Soul:r and Hospital, Seba's music has retained a timeless appeal and brings together beats and bass in classic yet inimitable style.

Seba, Ableton, SoundCloud and Knowledge Magazine have joined forces for an exclusive remix competition of Seba's Painted Sky track, which came out on his own Secret Operations label in 2010.

"I would like to hear something new coming out of this track, but still keeping the same vibe. Keep it musical. It doesn't matter if it's heavy or dark or uplifting. The original track is quite musical, so I'd expect any remix of it to be the same," Seba said.

Deadline for entries is midnight on Sunday March 27th 2011.

Head HERE for more details.

Knowledge | Guest Mix: Seba

Without a doubt one of my favourite producers in the drum & bass realm, Swedish producer Sebastian Ahrenberg - aka Seba - is the man behind a stock pile of amazing releases. With releases on iconic labels such Metalheadz, Good Looking, Hospital and Soul:R, Seba is still considered one of drum & bass's elite and showing no signs of slowing down in 2010. Knowledge sat him down for an interview. Check out the mix, recorded in San Francisco recently.
